Ledisi returns with new tour and album

I'm kinda mad because I feel like y'all sleep on Ledisi.

Taking in her impactful performance this past Superbowl LIX with a soaring rendition of Lift Every Voice and Sing, it is clear that the New Orleans music veteran is a force to be reckoned with.

Yet, in spite of her obvious talent, it seems in the conversations about the greatest soul singers of this modern era, Ledisi's name doesn't come up often in popular culture. Having a career that now has lasted 25 years, it's curious that this major talent isn't at the top of people's tongues when it comes to matters of Soul/R&B music.

Her lastest release Good Life, encompassed a collection of fervent songs about life, love, loss, and peace found. Featuring the smooth stylings of fellow R&B veteran, Kenny Lattimore, Good Life is feel good music. In my personal opinion, it is the best album yet from the seasoned vocalist. Still, even after touring with said album, when it came to awards season, the one time Grammy winner was criminally overlooked.

Fast forward to 2025, Ledisi released buzz single Love You Too with a lush and scenic video treatment directed by her husband and artistic partner, Ron T. Young.

On the heels of her electrifying Superbowl showing, new album The Crown has been announced with subsequent tour to follow supported by former Floetry singer Marsha Ambrosious with Rahsaan Patterson and Kindred The Family Soul on select dates this spring.

Check out the lush Love You Too video and upcoming tour dates below...
