Style Spotlight: My Fashion Hero - Lougè Delcy

DapperLou.com quickly became my fashion bible after finding it in a Google search. Always desiring to present myself well, I was looking for a source where signature style and flair is prominent. My search stopped once I found Brooklyn native Lougè Delcy's fashion blog. 
From street style featurettes to high end runway looks, USA and abroad, Delcy constantly stays on top of fashion trends worldwide. His work has even caught the eye of  Vogue.It, GQ.com, NYMag.com, Metro International, The Huffington Post, Essence.Com, StyleLikeU.Com, Complex Magazine and Fox 5 News just for starters.

When Jamie Foxx comes pumping down the runway for the cowboy cunt realness category, he doesn't half step. At least that is the case on the set of Quentin Taratino's new flick 'Django Unchained'. According to IMDB online here's the premise: With the help of his mentor, a slave-turned-bounty hunter sets out to rescue his wife from a brutal Mississippi plantation owner.  With Foxx in the title role, the film also stars Leonardo DiCaprio , Samuel Jackson , Kerry Washington , and RZA .  Previews for the film will begin rolling during 'Promethius' run while its release is on Christmas Day. Beyonce's Cowboy Carter is Album of the Year/Grammy Awards 2025

It's safe to say that after a 30-plus year career and 30 plus Grammy Awards all led up to the night of the 67th Annual Grammy Awards for the multifaceted Beyonce, as she won the coveted Album of The Year for Cowboy Carter.  Also, having won for Best Country Duo/Group performance for "II Most Wanted" with Miley Cyrus and Best Country Album, this comes on the heels of being completely shut out at the previous Country Music Awards in 2024 with no nominations at all.  Already crowned the most decorated and nominated artist in Grammy's history, these particular wins mark the first time a black woman has won in the country music category since The Pointer Sisters' 1975 song "Fairytale".  In her Album of The Year acceptance speech, Beyoncé noted one important figure in tribute. Linda Martell, a country singer, who in 1969 became the first black woman to perform at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.  Other notable wins were Doechii for Best Rap Album for Alligator...
